Spain Study Visa – Complete Checklist & Guide

1. Eligibility
• Admission from a recognized Spanish institution
• Full-time course (minimum 20 hours/week)
• Study duration more than 90 days
2. Required Documents Checklist
• Valid passport
• Spain student visa application forma
• Admission / Enrollment letter BSBI Barcelona
• Proof of tuition fee payment (2000 Thousand Euros)
• Proof of financial means (€600–€650 per month = 8000 euros per year)
• Bank statement / Sponsor letter / Scholarship proof
• Private health insurance (no co-pay, full coverage)
• Accommodation proof
• Police clearance certificate
• Medical certificate
• Motivation / Study plan letter
• Passport-size photographs
3. Financial Requirements
Spain does not require a blocked account.
You must show approx. €7,200–€8,000 for one year.
4. Language Requirements
• Spanish-taught programs: A2–B2 Spanish
• English-taught programs: IELTS 5.5–6.0 / Toefl 60 points / Doulingo 120
5. Work Rights
• Up to 30 hours per week
• Work must not affect studies
• No separate work permit required
6. Visa Processing
• Processing time: 15–45 days
• Apply online at Spanish Embassy or Consulate
8. Visa Extension & Future Options
• Renewable yearly
• Option to switch to work permit after studies
